A quick note for Business Online Banking clients.

As you have learned, WashingtonFirst Bank is now part of the Sandy Spring Bank family.  To help ensure a smooth transition of Business Online Banking services to Sandy Spring Bank, it is necessary for us to verify business and mobile phone numbers of WashingtonFirst business clients registered with WashingtonFirst Business Online Banking.  To that end, registered Business Online Banking clients should expect a call from WashingtonFirst Bank in the next few weeks.  Business clients may also call us with your information at 703.814.7220, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Here’s the information needed:

  • Gather mobile and business phone numbers for all Business Online Banking users in your organization, not just the primary administrator.
  • Then, provide the numbers when you receive your call from a bank representative.
  • You can also call us with your information at 703.814.7220, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m Eastern Time.

IMPORTANT:  Without accurate phone numbers on record, users will not be able to take advantage of the upcoming ebiz Preview (more information to come in February) or login to ebiz and mobile banking services at Sandy Spring Bank beginning March 5, 2018.

Overview of ebiz, Sandy Spring Bank’s business online banking service:

  • Sandy Spring Bank’s business online banking service (called ebiz® Online Banking) has an extra layer of built-in security to protect you and your business.
  • The first time you login to ebiz at Sandy Spring Bank, or if you ever login from a device or network we don’t recognize, we’ll send you a one-time security code via a text message or phone call.
  • Enter the security code once you receive it and you’ll be all set to go.
